In June of 2021, something grand happened for the Highland Title team – a grand opening, to be exact. Our 16th settlement location opened in the James Building (formerly the National Bank of Herndon) in historic Old Town Herndon.
While we always look for ways to serve the growing demand for real estate settlements in Northern Virginia, this office offered the chance to marry our industry’s current technology and tools with the history of the building, dating back to 1910. Having survived the Great Fire of 1917, this structure stands as strong as our dedication to serving you.
Our President and Chief Counsel, Mike McFarlane, said it best. “We took a fresh look and reallocated employees to strategic locations to allow us to be nimble and continue to provide convenient and safe settlements for our clients.” It was that pivot during the COVID-19 pandemic that allowed us to seize the opportunity for expansion.
The Herndon Office, located at 783 Station Street, is perfect for you to settle and celebrate. With ample parking, you can sign on the line and be on your way to one of the local breweries, restaurants, or cafes to raise a glass to your successful closing, be it buyer or seller.
As an added bonus, Mike loves his new walking commute. “After working in Northern Virginia for over 30 years and commuting all over the area, often by car, I’m excited and look forward to building a connection in a community that I love.”
Regardless of the Highland Title + Escrow location you choose for your settlement, our goal is to ensure a positive, settlement experience every time. We obtain signatures, record documents and handle funds efficiently and effectively, no matter where the settlement is scheduled and would love the opportunity to show you around our new location.
